Tuesday, December 24Playing God? Playing is for children.

My head is reeling and the burnt orange smudges of the wall paints are spinning around my vision… dancing and moving as… as I’m moving? In spite of the pain I snap to enough awareness to realize that my body is sliding downwards on a slope of smooth metal. I cant see much, but I know I don’t want to find out how safe, or close, the bottom might be.

I reach out and manage to get a grip on some stone! It closes around my hand and I realize that my escape attempt has been a failure in more ways than one.

I am easily lifted by stone-covered brute, and I can see the eyes behind the fissured face. They look close to human. Between that and realizing how easily he could break me if he wanted, I’m inclined to chat once he sets me gently down in a nearby room.

1- Time to have a chat…
